IT Security

ANU IT Security is responsible for managing and investigating IT security incidents and breaches. Information is available for students on staff for reporting a suspected IT security incident.

They provide advice to keep your personal devices safe; free anti-virus software for personal computers, including at home; online IT security training; advice on malware removal, as well as guidelines on choosing a secure password or passphrase.

Additional services provided by ANU IT Security include the Virtual Private Network (VPN); email filtering, SSL certificates as well as software updates for Windows and Mac.

Students and staff are encouraged to read ANU IT security policy and password guidelines.
